low end noise

i developed a noise in neutral and when i tilt the bike to the right. it stops when i put the bike in gear. i heard of these bikes having noise issues but i dont beleive this is the same. it sounds like clutch area.cant be sure .any input or experience with this would be helpful.checked clutch seems fine .change oil twice no bearing material at all/ bike shifts fine not missing any shifts at all.

Hard to tell without hearing it ourselves. Maybe a You Tube video post of it? Or better yet, get ahold of a stethoscope (any hardware store will have one) and locate exactly where the sound is coming from. Piece of cake to do, shouldnt take more than a minute or two of effort. Once you know that, figuring out the cause is easy.

dont worry, thats nothing,,,the clutch n trans gears rock back n forth in sync with the crank,,when u pull in the clutch that goes away, because they r no longer engaged ,bmw has put o rings on the trans gears to shafts to stop this from happening,,

sticks,if it is an R model 2 cylinders opposed it clunks because of the large diameter heavy flywhell,,but all shaft drives clunk more then chain drive,,i think it is because there isnt as much slack in the geartrain, n alot of rotating mass, all shaft drives seem to be hard on tires too

ive been told it is a bent fork,or i lost a circlip ,which is why the noise only comes when the bike is tilted to one side but there is no missed shifts at all.but on the return road cruising in fourth it will slide into neutral.still hoping to find a definitive answer to this.
