anyone else with M10
I have the original M10 and it seems to have a flat spot up until 4K RPM. Does anyone else running the same system have this problem? The map is from Muzzy, the secondary's have been removed.

I noticed that on the dyno ...

It did not bother me though, I'm only under 5k when stopping for gas or pulling in the garage.

I like that you had your; "tank bag on" Left me scratching my head on that one!! Scratch, scratch, scratch. Should have pulled the bag for a dyno run. Would have found 0 more HP/Torque.
Take heart, I'm only joshing!! LOL

I have the m10 not sure if it's original of not though. I recently purchased about 2 months ago. Neways I didn't like the muzzy map and got mine custom mapped. Curve has no flat spots at all and it pulls strong till redline. Flies are still in though so I don't know if it would help you.

I had/have the full Muzzy 4-1. PC111 with Muzzy MAP. Never felt right. Always felt/smelled rich and did not have the jump/punch I expected. Took the PC off and went back to the stock Kawi MAP. A whole new motorcycle. Went like stink, great throttle response and just over 40mpg. I think the Kawi engineers know a lot more about how to make their M/C go than any after-marketer flogging their wares with inflated claims.

Would love to use a Brocks Smeg map with my M10-M14 setup. My Muzzy map smells rich on the bottom, but after some extended high rpm runs the #4 plug I pulled showed lean.
I just absolutely hate the idea of spending $150+ to get a custom map when my bike is just a generic M10/M14 flies out K&N filter setup that is EXACTLY identical to thousands others out there!! Let's be realistic Muzzy: How much can a 14 vary bike to friggin bike?! A decent map for that setup should work dead nuts on for half the bikes made, with the other half damn close. It's not like Kawi is changing the CC's, port velocities, camshaft profiles, etc.. bike to bike just to make them all different! The basic volume, flow, swirl characteristics should remain nearly consistent, even if the HP numbers bike to bike can vary, that doesn't mean the map is gonna be different!
Brocks maps sure seem to work just fine... hint hint.
