Helibar Riser
Well I took some advice I got here and purchased the helibar risers. I had to drive over an hour to get them and I learned I am not a 20 year old any more. I was getting a bit sore granted I am not in the best shape. The guy was nice enough to install them for the ride back home. I had a big smile on my face when I got back on the bike and noticed the difference. I took the long way home and was amazed at how such a slight move made the ride that much more enjoyable. There is a sizable hole on top of the forks but I will fil that in with some custom Stainless plugs tomorrow. I am also going to make some custom Stainless bar ends tomorrow as well. I will post pics on Sunday for those interested. Thanks for the great advice guys, it was just what a fat guy like me needed

I finally got my first 500 miles in and the first part of the break-in done. I took it in and got it checked out and changed and they said it is looking good. Now I can start having some real fun with it. I also got a chrome blue windshield and will be putting that on as well before I take the pics.

Lower the triples on the forks an inch... fills the holes nicely.

Ok, this is my first time trying to post pictures so I hope this works.
Thanks, I am not sure what I did wrong there.
Anyway, put on some new grips, changed the windshield, made some new bar ends and made the caps over the forks.
The bike needs to be cleaned but other then that, I am happy with the results. Still a lot of things to do but it is a start. Any opinions?

I made the caps and bar ends myself. They are both made of SS to match the stock exhaust. I had to do something to fill the hole left by the helibars.
