2007 ZX-14 Yosh TRC Stainless/Titanium Exhaust

Hey guys just thought I would pass along a great deal. Just bought a brand new 4 into 1 Full Yosh stainless TRC system with Titanium canister for $475 plus shipping directly from Yoshimura. Not sure how many they have left but I guess they redesigned the system to fit 06-08 ZX-14and they are blowing out the remaining 06-07's. Cut and paste the the link to check it out....

Now my next question is can I run the Yosh 4 into 1 without a power commander?

The lady at Yosh told me that the new systems coming out replacing the ones for the 06-07 will now fit the 06-08 so I would call their R&D dept and ask.......for 475 what do you have to lose!!!

I purchased one last week and had it installed Friday…
Positives:
1. It looks great / awesome / stupendous;
2. It sounds excellent (I was a little worried it would make to much noise – not at all makes sounds deeper and throatier than stock but only starts to scream at 10+ “just like stock”;
3. It is light - the weight difference is nothing short of amazing;
4. Did I say it looks freken awesome…

Negatives:
Note: I have yet to find (or really look for) a fly’s in map and do not have access to a dino… So all that has been done is the muffler and PC installed (so my comments here really are not fair):
1. After install I have a little bit of a flat spot in first about a second after you get on the gas;
2. I have noticed some popping and even a small backfire or two when decelerating at very low RPM – This does not happen all the time and is fairly minor but is an annoyance (I think this would only be a concern if you were not going to map it or were not going to get a PC.

All in all there really aren’t any negatives the muffler looks and sounds great and the build quality is excellent (even the replacement springs are very nice)… actually now that I think of it there is two thing I don’t like.
1. On the end cap there are three little indentations (presumably to increase grip when / if you remove it)… On the right angle it looks like your muffler has a dent.
2. When I purchased it last week (at a shop) I paid just over $1500 installed (in Canada)… and now I see it for $475. Crap…

fuelmotousa.com is a Yosh tuning center and they have a custom map for ZX-14 with the "flies in" with the Yosh TRC 4 into 1. I just bought my powercommander from them and its a specific map just for the Yosh TRC 4 into 1 and everything else stock. I paid 259 plus 13.00 shipping and it includes lifetime assistance. They seem really good, can't wait to try it all together installed!!!! If you already have a powercommander and are looking for a map for the zx-14 with Yosh Full TRC exhaust with the flies in I was advised to use #8 or the Ti-Force exhaust map on the dynojet website. Dynojet tech said it would much better than using the map for Yosh with "flies out" from dynojet.com
