Ninja of DOOM!
Hey all! So my fiance decided to surprise me with a 2008 ZX14 a couple weeks ago. I'd have posted pics earlier, but i was too busy RIDING :mfclap:crackup:
Anywho, it has about 1000 miles on it now (broken in RIGHT :devil and I cant help but tinker 8)
Heres the beast as she stands
Full M14 Muzzy exhaust. 30lbs off the bike and eliminating 3(!) cats ups the power nicely.
BMC race filter
PC3
Secondary intake butterflies removed for more low-end oomph

Competition Werkes fender eliminator. I painted it black to blend in better (ninjas are masters if this) :mfclap:

-Full HID swap (why didnt i do this earlier?! NO light scatter and BRIGHT)
-Nice CCFL halos! Just because they look great and are BRIGHT, even in broad daylight 8)

And to make this 'bike my own, i couldnt help it 4::ninja::mfclap:
Decals are chrome and match the factory sticker awesome!

Anywho, I havent posted much and thought i'd share now that she's complete.

Nice! Very clean look. How hard was it to install the halos?

Lowcel has a post on the first one or two pages of this forum documenting the process. I had my mechanic do the work. Good friend and cut me a HUGE deal. Amazing what happens when i drop off a bunch of parts AND a 5th of Glen Levit scotch lol

Have a picture of where you mounted your switch? I'm still trying to decide where I want to permanently mount mine.

I will take one for you tonight! I dont like to have anything on the right side (throttle hand should stay there). If you look at your gauges, the area where the cover panel comes up to the left of them has a bunch of indented 'dimples'. I drilled a small hole in the center of the dimples. Under the fairing enough that its barely noticable and looks like it should be there. With the smaller clutch reservoir on that side its easy to reach on the road too.

The Hids are teh awesome. How many hours did it take your buddy to install (so I can gauge how much my stealership would charge me)?

Very good looking ride, dood! Wish I had a mechanic I could drop my bike off to and have those halos installed.
Where in Washington do you and your buddy live? I was just up there.

There's one down the street, I just want an idea of how many hours it takes to install, multiply that by their shop rate and get an idea of how much I'm looking at. Capice?

They should be able to install the hid's in under two hours total. It was my first time installing them and it took me less time than that.

That sounds perfect and clean. Do you think you might have trouble with cops stopping you because of the blue lights?
