2008 zx14 vibration

Just got my zx14 and I love it! It's really great to have a site dedicated to this cycle. Just a question, seems that there is a vibration on the right clip-on quite a bit more than the left one. Is this normal? Almost makes my hand go numb! I've only got 500kms on this thing, so I know it's not completely broken in, but any thoughts are greatly appreciated!
THx!

At what speed are you getting your vibration? My 06 is smooth as butter even at high speeds and has always been that way straight out the crate. Have you taken the bike back to the dealer and have it inspected?

+1
Same smooth ride here on my '06- which is identical to yours except for a few minor engine updates and smog crap. You got a problem that you should take care of NOW while its still new and under warranty, the longer you wait the harder it will be to get the dealer to jump into it in order to keep you happy with your purchase!

I'm gonna take it to the dealership and let them take it for a spin. Seems more prevelant around 4000rpm. I'll keep you guys informed. Any further ideas as to why this vibration is happening is greatly appreciated!

My apologies, what's the difference to a zx14 and a zx14 C? And how can I tell, and which one is better?

My hand was going numb after I got my 14. With the wrist positioning it turned out to be carpal tunnel. All better after operation. No vibrations in my bike.

I thought it might be my wrist as well, but I've tried putting the strain on my left hand and the vibration is still there. Gonna find out tomorrow what the service dept thinks and I'm going to take out another 14 for a spin and see if it's the same. I'll keep you all up to date! Thanks again for all the replies!

Its all good. Some harmonics which is to be expected, but totally normal. I took out another zx14 to compare and it actually had more "vibrations" than mine! Thanks again for the input!

Has anyone measured their level of vibration with a vibration analyzer? I would assume Kawasaki has a mean value they use as a standard.
