Chain adjustment/slapping

I just recently lowered my bike to its lowest level using a Vortex system. The front of the bike hasn't been adjusted at all. The question is: Has anyone experienced any problems with chain slapping or an unusual sound coming from the chain area when slacking off the throttle or during decelaration? I adjusted the chain to its factory specification (1.3" to 1.5") but I am still experiencing a terrible noise. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you and Aloha, all the way from Hawaii.

You need to look at the swingarm and pivot. On a stock height bike the chain will get tighter as the suspension starts to compress. With it lowered extremely, it will get looser as the swingarm rotates above the pivot point. In that case you will need to run less slack than the factory suggests.

On my lowered and extended bike I am running about 1" slack on the street, and less at the track.

You also need to make sure that the fuel pump is not smacking the swingarm, and that you are not rubbing the fender underneath.
