Custom Passenger Grab Handle on My ZX-14
Below are some pictures of the rear passenger grab handle I made from 1" bar stock stainless steel. I heated and bent the bar. Then I ground flat and drilled both ends to match the factory frame bolt pattern. Finally I drilled and filed the top tail section plastic to pass the handle through. I got some threaded bolts that matched the factory threads and installed the part. It is strong as hell and I think it looks ok too.
After pricing the factory handle, I felt there HAD to be a better (and less expensive) alternative. Here's what I came up with:

Good effort. Looks good and is certainly a lot cheaper than the Kawi kit.

+1 I'd be interested, my 8 and 10 year old daughters would much appreciate it! Even though I never go over 35mph with them...
