Oil In air box

I was doing the pair mod to the bike the other day and found some oil in the airbox, not a whole lot but it looks like its spewing out of the breather tube towards the rear of the box. Is this normal or is there anyway i can prevent this. I dont do wheelies(well only on some occasions at the track when it comes up on me some) and i use 4qrts of oil every oil change. The bike is 08 with 2200 miles.
any imput would be a apriciated.

it can happen if you are running it hard with your oil capacity at the upper threshhold. i use 4 quarts when i change the oiland filter and haven't had a problem. where is the oil level on your sight glass with the bike level? you want it right in the middle, if its in the upper side that bigmotor will push it around under heavy acceleration. in any case it is not a problem.

It is normal - esp if you ride hard.......be sure to drain the bulb now and then.....

Mine never did that, and I ran the oil near the top, and 6th gear reving over 7000 for hours on end...LOL
the airbox did get oiled though, but my bearings still loved me!
