the extra compression will allow you to advance the cams more for more top end, without hurting the midrange as much as stock compression.
If you like midrange power, leave the stock cam timing with the higher compression pistons for even more power in the mid!
I would not advance the timing that much with higher compression, and a milled head! ... PING! .... not that I know from experience on the 14, just other engines I have built, and I do know the stock compression with 4 degrees added runs it on the edge with pump fuel.
I also thought I heard that we only have 45 thous piston to valve clearnce stock, so I would be concerned about miulling the head and 13.5...
Just hearsay, I may be wrong,............. but better to be safe than sorry!
Hate to hear of any problems later for ya...

Thanks dubious,im guessing my torque wont be affected down low?top end pulling power was fine with my stock motor.so yeah more midrange would be nice!
