removing california emissions?

is there any issue with removing the seperator and canister ? It looks like I can plug the vacuum lines and the lines from the tank.

I did a search on the site and did not get any hits. Any information would be appreciated. I wanted to make room to instal a SB6 ignition...

a few guys one here have mentioned tossing it, but never specified exactly how. Its a popular spot to install the PCIII. no power difference, just makes the bike cleaner and simpler...

ZX-Bob gave me these instructions after I removed the canister under the seat:

Two hoses ......
Black w/ Blue strip ........ leave open to vent under seat.
Black w/ Green strip ...... remove completely - this hose runs up to
the #3 intake port. Remove hose and install a vacuum cap.

Thanks for the info. I put 750 miles on the bike riding it back from WV, so I am ready to change the oil and add the new ignition and maybe put some slipons on it. But I am gonna keep it mostly stock and use it as a daily commuter , not modify it to the point that i cant take it on the street like I did to my '06.

What happened to the 06? I thought I saw it at Maxton in May?

I still have it . It is getting upgraded to a 1530 ... still trying to get to 200 naked. The best I got on the stock motor was 189 mph with a pretty good shot of nitrous. I did try more nitrous and the motor ended up getting hurt, so now it is time to get bigger :-)
