Blackmagic, sorry to hear about your loss. I feel your pain. Years ago I had one stolen too. It was paid off and all mine to lose. Parked it in the garage for the winter, took off the insurance because we couldn't afford it at the time, and pulled it out one warm February day. Got home, took a nap, woke up, and gone!!
Since it wasn't insured I was notifed 3 years later when it was found. They busted some guy in a drug raid and found my bike rotting in the back yard. I got it back, just a frame and motor on wheels. They said there was no point of going through the hassle of pressing charges as he was being put away for a long time. He's probably still there...
Karma. What goes around comes around.

From my experience, I doubt he's still locked up. Probablly back on the streets dealing drugs and stealing bikes...I hate a thief.
BM, sorry for your loss. I'd venture to say that you've got twice as many theft worries once you get a busa though. Park smart with the new ride, Bro. Pick a color for the Bus yet?

There's a guy on coronado island here in san diego that parks his 1098 next to the road and runs a log chain through both wheels and around a telephone pole lmfao. Looks ghetto as shit but i bet no one will steal it.

I read an interview once by a guy who was a reformed car thief and consulted for law enforcement...
He stated that movie theaters were his favorite spots. The car owner would go inside and he new that he had a couple of hours head start.
Food for thought.
Sorry for your loss
