anybody in the Tampa area?
Just checking to see if there are any 14 owners in the tampa, florida. I am getting deployed to tampa for about a month for some training. Wouldn't mind hitting up Bradenton or something. It's hard too. I need a car while I am out there!

I am in tampa. I need help drag racing. Been riding sportbikes 15 years. Just got my bike done up. 5MM welded muzzy stroker crank, 86MM JE pistons, carillo rods, muzzy billet cams, HD valvesprings, 1530cc with 256rwhp / 144 ft pnds of torque. I don't want to stretch it until i get a zx10. I love dragging my pegs on the ground on my 14. it amazes people with smaller bikes. I almost need to put my flies back in lol

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with 6 grand holeshots. I know how to drag race, but the christmas tree, and staging, and all that would be wierd when i've never done it. I'm tried of street racing and not doing it anymore. 1/4 mile sounds more fun tho

Sure just because I don't own a 14 you leave me out. I want to see legit dyno charts on this 256hp bike. Hell Muzzy isn't even claiming that much and their charts are always high.

I checked the radar at 4:30 and saw scattered rain all over Clearwater and decided it was a wash. It was also raining up here. It's all Steve's fault. Will be at Lakeland if Steve doesn't make it rain again.

Nightmare,
Here's the rest of the racing schedule for this week as well as what weather.com is saying.
BMP test & tune/grudge tonight @ 6-11pm - scattered showers 60% dropping to 50% chance of precip by 7pm. I'll be there on the black '06 if the weather holds out.
Runday Sunday @ BMP 9-5 - isolated thunder storms 30% chance precip.
Lakeland 1/8th mile also on Sunday. Johnny Turbo said he's got a grudge race lined up where he's riding "No Joke" that orange pro street bike, which should be cool to see - scattered thunder storms 40% chance of precip.
Also worth checking out while in the area is Quaker Steak & Lube bike night in St. Pete on Wed nights. This is a compromise because Sunshine 1/8th m. also runs on Wed.
If you can make it down to Sarasota 53 mi south of Tampa I'd swing by
Exoticycle - the Super Street Kings
Roaring Toyz - the bling kings
And Cycle Logic to drool over some turbo's.
