Clearalternative lens(tail light)
Ok here's the deal. I like the stock rear light assembly but wanted to upgrade for higher visability, Clearalternative lens sells one(in different colors) but I haven't found any pros-cons on it. I would believe the LEDs should be brighter than the stock bulbs but that conclusion might not be accurate. Anyone has one installed? Pics? Last, I know the blinker is incorporated into the tail light. Does this make you turn signaling more visual? How does that turn signaling look w/stock blinkers? Thanks in advance

The stock tailights are LEDS..

I would leave the stocker in. Just as ZXLNT said they are LED'S anyway. I personally do not like having my signals that close to the tailight. It's almost hard to distinquish right from left if you did not have the stock signals in place. That could be dangerous !

Additional LEDs (4-6) inserted into each of the passenger pegs will provide you more running light visabilty and more turn signal visability. its a super clean mod and will strike up many conversations.
but heads up, you have to be good with 5 pin relays and drill presses.

LOL, I was all in Steve until you said this;
but heads up, you have to be good with 5 pin relays and drill presses.

its not THAT bad to do, a friend has it on his busa and I just had to have it on my bike. I did it after the powdercoaters got through. if you're ever near Tampa with the bike and you want it done, we'll help with yours! I don't have any video of the lights on or blinking, but they're bright red LEDs-

Gotcha! Steve, LED setup on your R1 is superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have not seen that yet! Ya, I got to get situated in the next 45 days or so and I surely would like to enhance my 14. Thanks again in advance as you and others have shown great hosipitality. I'm greatful. Peace
