lost year
hey guys yea it feels like a lost year. after anticipating all winter long racing the blue o6 i feel really let down. after a few test and tune runs # 4 rod bearing lets go, so it's back to the dealer and after a few weeks i get it back get a couple of runs and sensors shit the bed. tip over kick stand and the neutral also and on top of all this the recall. so the dealer has had it for a month now and its july the bike has only 1156 miles on it and all this trouble.not any seat time on it did pull a 9.40 though, never had this bike dynoed but it is a nice bike .and it is fast.good thing is i did not sell my 12 been racing it this year and i cant say i am not dissapointed with all that has happened to the 14 but the 12 is running the balls pulled a 9.24 in the 1/4 with a 1557 short 5.97 at the 1/8 topped it out at 149.08 so i'm still racing but i thought i'd be racing the 14.

That sucks. You don't hear about too many rod bearing failures these days. Any idea of what led to it? Or was it likely just a factory defect?
I should have my 07 to the track on the 18th, for the 1st time. It has 1001 miles on it now.

dealer said kawi did not bat an eye when he spoke to the about the crank, so not hearing any bad things about the 14 i assumed it may have been few out there
