for those asking about the OSR pan and why -- well we first designed it back in 06 for clearance only -- you loose just around 4oz-- but it solves the problem of lowering the bike and knocking the drain plug through.

Not 100% sure on the LSR stuff but I know greg from HPC has bought several of our pans he may be able to give a better answer on that.

WE are working on a new pan design similar to teh adams pan that will give close to 1qt more -- i will post pics when it is finished.

Looks pretty stout when installed:

I like it, but I don't see any performance advantage for a stock motor. It also sticks out in the breeze pretty far. I bet cornering clearance really suffers. With all that being said, I'd love to try one out!

It may work well with drag pegs, and not melt your toes like some other exhausts could. For a racing exhaust, it seems pretty nice. My only concern, and it's just for the return road, is dragging that big honkin' exhaust tip.

it should also keep the black off of your brake caliper
i dont think ill stick mine out as far, less angle on the cuts so its more or a 50ish deg turn out instead of the near 90 like above.

I see lines; so either the brake pedal is simply removed, or a thumb brake installed.

That's also a very lightweight looking race subframe on this Busa.

I still have not seen any aftermarket subs for the 14.

McIntosh subframe (not my bike, unfortunately):

I believe these are $750+, designed for extended tail sections/race fuel tank setups.

I paid $250 for the r-r race subframe for the gsxr,
it's just a 2 lbs. aluminum copy of the oem unit. Anybody make an oem lightweight replica?

nice subframe-- i just talked to the guy that does my chassis work about one of these -- I missed out on a nice used tail so need to figure out what tail to go with and then we will be trying to fab up something like that. -- I also just purchased a kx65 radiator to mount under tail similar to what they did -- it will be pretty much track only so not worried about the small rad. Thanks for the pic!
