I actually was going to go but I was not able to get everything together on the motorcycle..
What gear ratios are you guys running with?

Shane I hope by the time you read this you are in the 200 MPH club!

Great work Shane, My personal belief is the short stacks did him some good for LSR. They move the power to the upper RPM range, which he's in makeing them Top End Runs.. Hope he gets the 200 today.

We are still in Loring this morning. I am about to leave the hotel, so it will be a couple of days before I am home and can really tell this story. Suffice it to say, this has been an incredible weekend!
Yesterday, we had the wind at our backs. That, combined with 1.5 miles of beautiful runway led to incredible speeds. I actually ran out of gear and had to borrow a sprocket.
Here are the numbers:

Some crazy runs
I'm out of town- Loring ME is so close to my neck of the woods though, really wish I could have seen some of these runs and meet you in person.
I would have never guessed that the 14 is capable of such speeds on stock motor

Only with 1.5 miles and a good tailwind, believe me. I will be shooting for 195 mph at Maxton.
But it was fun. I have the MPS/F-2000/4 record until the next event...when a truly fast bike comes along. It's nice to hold the record and get the hat, though.

I had a 38 on the back. A 39 would have been ideal, but the BST takes special sprockets. I was lucky that another guy had a BST on his Busa. He did me a huge favor with letting me borrow his sprocket.

I'm sure they also awarded you for bringin in the meanest looking motorcycle
BTW zxbob if I remember right had his turbo at 18/ 41 with a Kawi oem 18T front- that should be plenty of gear for anything
