Please post pictures of your ceramic coated pipes
I am looking into a few options for an exhaust (Short SMEG, Alien Head, and a couple others) but I want it ceramic coated inside and out. If you have your pipes ceramic coated can you please post them up so I can take a look? Especially if you have a Short SMEG or an Alien Head.

Bought a Brock's pipe(chrome) but sent it to HP coatings to be Ceramic coated. They only charge me $300 for the process inside and out(rated 2,500 F) and reduces the heat off of the ZX 14 big time! I know that Brocks offer's a similar ceramic coating but when i looked @ it, the color seemed to have a grayish tint to it(which did not fit my cosmetic application) plus it was cheaper to do it this way but I must add that you'll need some patience for the different vendors(Brock & HPcoatings) to do their part.

Wow! That looks great! Is that a high gloss? I think the ones I saw on Brock's website looked like it was a flat black. That really does look nice. How long did it take you to get it back?

Not high gloss but more like a satin gloss. But it matches the lower part(you know the 06 models didn't have that high gloss black down/lower) perfectly! From the time I sent the pipe to them(HPC), it took them about 7 business days to have it @ my front door. Most might not care if the color is off but I'm a stickler when it comes to that part and it's right on!!! Let me state that Brock's ceramic pipe is beautiful but just didn't match up for my taste

Hey Superman T, I'm ready to go with the Brock's. Do you have a web site for HP coating? I'm ready to order, will probably call them tomorrow. I'm trying find good pictures of what I might get.
I have the '08 SE. I'm not sure what black would go better with it. The SE is not a gloss finish, so I'm trying to figure out what would look best. My '85 900 has ceramic black that's a nice gloss finish but I wouldn't want that on the 14. Who knows, maybe the black provided by Brock's would look good.
Anyway... do you have a link or were they local to you? Any clear photos would be great too.

The finish on the SE is really unique. I've seen pictures up here but they were missing the clarity required to really see it. I'll post one or two, just to show what I'm working with.

Thanks for taking the time to post the pics! Your bike looks hot. My daughter wanted me to get the 14 in a black, but the wife won and I got the SE.
As much as I love the way Superman T's look, these might match my SE better. Did Brock coat them? Are they coated on the inside? (or is that a stupid question?)
That also reminds me, I think I'll get the label in red.
