16 / 43 sprockets

can u ran a standard chain with these sprockets,,,,,,,

You will shorten the wheelbase though.

WHY! Your bike makes big power stay at 17 in the front and 1 or 2 in the rear. 16 is also a little tough on your chain.

16/43 is a great setup. It has great snap and for me it gives back all the power that I am losing at my elevation.

i just ordered 16/43 for my bike, but i was wondering about what RPM you guys are seeing at 80mph with that gearing?

Aprox. 4800 in 6th. I will double check that tomarrow on the way to work...if I can go that slow

Been running 16/43's for years now on both ZX's...love 'em! 100 MPH would rev at about 6K, (GPS INDICATED), if I remember correctly.

im 300 suited with 16/43 set up at 67.5 inches and its perfect for my big azz... speedo is 11mph off at 65mph .. so it reads 76mph ... not sure of rpms though..
