engine pop question

Whats up guys, Im about to bid on this zx10, for something the old lady and I can ride... Its an 07 with only 1100 miles on it.. Anyway, long story short.. I started it today, and it was kinda hesitent at starting first, then it was running for a minute, and it was kinda popping when I would open up the throttle a little.. I mean 2, 3 grand tops.. Someone told me it needs plugs, but who knows...its missing the right side fairing, but thats all it needs, so i was curious to see if any of you know anything about this popping-backfiring noise.. thanks

popping..

It's probably old gas and it has fouled up the plugs. Injected bikes will completely foul them if the bike sits with gas left in the tank for a long time. Its even more common now with this shit they call gasoline. Have someone look at it for you with some knowledge of these bikes but i can tell you from experiance the 10's are a tough bike....... Bill....
