One more oil thread

Have any of you ever mixed 2 different weights with an oil change? Just finished chainging my oil and was a little short on 10w-40 {about 1/2 a quart} so I poured in 1/2 quart of 15-50 moble 1. I assume this is ok what say fellows.

it will be as thin as the thinnest weight you used, but no problem with mixing that i know of
