I can appreciate the work that went into it myself having worked on all kinds of machines. It's just that most here are going to see it as working backwards........far away from what a 14 is.

Someone built and loved this:

but you can't really expect most people to like it..........

I truely think you could recoup more of your money if you were to cut the pipes and put the stock seat and tail back on it. You obviously put a lot of work into, but its gonna be hard to sell due to the uniqueness. With that paint scheme and a fat tire, you will attract more mainstream 14 buyers.

A catalyst racing composite tail, +6 supersport tail will run you about $230. Redo the seat---The paint & flame on that extended tail would get you a LOT more offers.

Best of luck with the sale.

Maybe a busa next go around?

Heres my custom ZX14! I went the minimalist route. I doesn't have the luggage capacity though,

Well not exactly my style but hey at least someone used their imagination. I know there isn't a big market for sportbike bags but it sure would be nice if someone made a decent pair of touring bags for the 14 or busa. Ya corbin makes them but way to expensive and from what i've seen not a lot of space in them. Even maybe some soft bags with a inner tube frame to have so shape to them and not flop in the wind.

I think It would look better without the luggage and perhaps with a drag seat. but wouldn't life be boring if we were all the same!

well thats the best part of what i built i have another stock subframe stock seat and the rear seat cowl and tail light s all i would need is to black rear tail pieces and in about an hour i can swap it back to the stock rear end with the big tire...The pipes disconnect under the bike where the stock bike did so a set of slip ons can go on in about 5 minutes

It was a joke, the pic is from when I was installing my SMEG and PCIII. The chock is from Baxley and I love it. I use it on my trailer transporting my track bike and its make lowering your bike a safe one man operation.

I know bulldog, I was kidding too.

Ben, if you have a subframe, just get you the catalyst +6 superstreet tail and rework that seat. Cool part about that tail is that you wont have to find the tail lights, just the taillight extension that catalyst sells(you could probablly fabicate that too) and buy an integrated LED blinker/tailight. The extended tail with those graphics and no nasty rear/side blinkers would make that bike very trick.

You've obviously got the skills to fab a sweet set of shorty dual chrome tips for the stock header. I'm tellin ya, that would look bad-ass! And sell. I can't get to e-bay, any hits?
