Yeah I know. Gonna have to go weigh mine now, see how much it is with just slipons and a fender eliminator.

I'm figuring I can just use my house scale (330 lbs cap., weighs within half pound of the calibrated one I have at work), take a 2x4 and put it under the tire not on the scale to even the height out. That how you guys weighed yours?

MIne all stock weight I believe was over 560 with full fuel. Which is what some pub claimed. I weighed mine with a bathroom scale and some padding to prop up the other end. How much weight could you lose and where is the other question exhaust of course. Loose the tool kit what other tricks are there? Burn a few pounds of rubber off the back. That might be right 30lbs exhaust 3 gals gas 20lbs.

Bathroom scales are notoriously inaccurate though. The one I have now is the first one I've found that was within 5 pounds at my weight - 320lbs. And dont compare your scale against a doctors office scale, they are quite literally the worst scales I've ever seen. Last time I got weighed, it said I was 10 pounds lighter than I am. Went to the next scale, it said I was 8 pounds lighter. Next scale was 5 pounds heavier. Typical.

Use a calibrated scale from work, at a loading dock or a truck scale. Gravel yards normally have them at or near the exit to the public roads and are always willing to weigh your car/ truck/ U-Haul for you for free in my experiences. Don't know if a bike is heavy enough to reach its lower calibration level though.

It's raining since I got home yesterday, so I'll hold off on my bike weigh-in until it clears. Will keep you posted.
