smokin, dubious, fastestbusaround,,need some insight
i got my brock ceramic street meg today,,looks great,,i see he has no regard for noise,,just H.P. i think i am going to like this brock guy,,i am waiting for those copper rings to install it,,so i put the p/c on,,it semed really kinda half ass,,with vel cro, n that ground ,,i didnt like where it went,,it started,,so i guess its working,,, i come from a world of red loctite n safety wire,,,,where do u guys mount the speedohealer,,,lift the tank up n run the wire n put the speedohealer under the seat,,,this thing looks scary to me,,i am not that gadget literate,,is it hard to set,,,E.J. sent me a pipercross air filter,,because they were out of the bmc street filter,,do u know anything about this filter,,i hope its compatiable with the map,,it appears to have oil on it,,its foam filter,,i was thinking uni filter oil might work good on this filter,,,is it necessary to put that permatex sealer on the pipes,,is this pipe compatible with the mobil 1 oil filter,,,its alittle longer then stock,,,i am a firm believer in syn oil, n oil filter,,,thanx u guys,,,i have learned alot about the 14 from your writings,,,,,,,,

As far as the permatex sealer goes, I don't have any on mine. I don't think Brock used any on his first set of pipes on his 2006 14.

High heat RTV on the joints if you like .... You can reuse the factory copper gaskets ..I have many times with no leaks .. Get a BMC filter ... The pipercross filter will work BUT not as good as a bmc ..

I run the BMC race filter with Brocks Race Map ...I found NO extra power with the Maxton Map....

zxbob,,, yours looks clean,,, i put the power commander under the seat, like yours,,pain in the ass, but my wires r shorter then yours,,,n i had to turn it the other way,,had to drill out those pop rivets in the bracket that holds the canester ,,,,i got rid of all that cali smog shit,,,pluged the vacuum lines at the throttle bodies,,,grounded the p/c at the battery,,,,well smokin i think i am going to reuse those copper washers,,,, i put the speedohealer next to the power commander,,,i am going to have 16/41 gearing ,,what do i program in the speedohealer

go to the speedohealer website, and you can enter your gearing and it will give you instructions on how to program the unit.

BOB THERE WAS A PART IN THE SPEEDO INSTRUCTIONS THAT SAID DO NOT HAVE IT TO CLOSE TO OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS,,,N ITS NEXT TO MY POWER COMMANDER
