You should run very good times with stock gearing, I'm still on the fence weather Ineed to regear or not. but it does suck you did not get your parts you orderd. I've always had good luck with them.

i had an experience with schitz similar. the muzzy exhausts weren't available yet for the 14. they took the order and charged the card and kept telling me "the exhaust is shipping soon, its muzzy's fault" so I called muzzy directly and found out the pipe was at least weeks out from a ship date.
i was upset about that BS but they were very nice about crediting my card back, and i was very pleased to start my first business dealings with Brock!

also, i have had good luck dealing with schnitz - just wish they had actual 'sales' instead of the same pricing everyone else has.

My problem i had with them was i ordered my airshifter and asked that i pay enough for shipping so i would have to pay brokerage fee's , and did a second payment , 4 days later i contact them to ask if my item has shipped and they proceed to tell me that i didnt pay enough for shipping , Some where in there they they bother to contact me to tel me iu hadent so my item lay in limbo. other then that all was great . IF you want to see bad ordered a helmet from Bayside performance it states 10 days for shipping 3.5 weeks later from a place that is 1500 km away

Schnitz is a first class operation. I have always been pleased with there products and service. Communication is the key to everything. Keep in mind the sales people with whom ever you order from are on commission and get paid for what they sell. A sale is not a sale unless it is paid for. Always ask like BM said about wether it is in stock, in hand, or back ordered. Get exact shipping dates and cost as well. I understand that you feel slighted, but a clear understanding on both parties ends is the key to a successful purchase. Always get names, dates and times to cover your bases. Sales people will always tell you what you want to hear to get the sale. It's very hard for the employer to know what their people are doing on the phone unless they are contacted about a valid complaint with names , dates and times. I am sure Schnitz would repremand or fire someone for being deceptive or slandering one of their suppliers.

Schnitz, spencer cycles, Brock and Muzzy---never had a problem with any of them. Its all about communication. I've had bad experiences with plenty of others(dealership, hotbodies, and some others), but never with any of these guys.

hmmmm, maybe I will give them another chance and keep this in mind. btw, I did ask if the part was in stock at the manufacturer and she said yes, it would ship out Monday and I would have it before my race tonight. She also said Votex has slow shipping when I talked with her "Schnitz"Friday, my Buddies say "Vortex"ship fast.

i never had a problem with schnitz, they had some backordered bmc filters once but they were up front about it and communicated well. if you have an immediate need then call first to find out if it is in stock.

I ordered some parts from them back in 2006 when the 14 was a brand new model and parts were scarce. They told me what was in stock and what was still being made. I asked them to wait until they had the complete order and then ship it. They were fine, kept me informed of progress and shipped as soon as they had all the parts. The package arrived in England in around 36 hours, door-to-door. I found them easy to deal with but you do need to find out if you are ordering from stock to avoid disappointment.

I spend thousands at Scnitz for my self and a few custom builds, and custom builds.
They are very honest, curteous, and helpful.
Best service I have ever gotten to be honest... they can only depend on the supplier, and sometimes that creates issues... no fault of theirs.
otherwise always great to deal with
allot of dealers and suppliers will not drop ship, so both Schnitz and Vortex had good intentions to deliver asap,

JJ, im sure if you order a part 8 days before a race you want to go to and on the 7th day you find out what you were told was not going to happen you would be a little upset.

Wee, I believe that timing is the common denominator. I had a similar incident where I was waiting for a part and needed it to ride. I was waiting the entire week for my part and it arrived the following Monday. From that point on I decided to never expect a company to come thru when you have time against you, it's just setting yourself up for potential disappointments. I truly empathize with you though! Still sucks
