I can just see this ticket coming in the mail. Dear Mr. BlackMagic we recently read where you regularly flee from the police please send us your name and address so we can come arrest you. LMAO
No, more in the way of a local finding out who you are from your IP, and then you get watched while you're out on your bike.
Happened here. A local board planned a cannibal run type race from one big city to the next and it got shutdown at the meeting place. Some members were cops and narced on them. There is no such thing as privacy on the internet. Sorry.

Here is what you have to look out for now! If you ride your bike to work everyday, which I do...that officer is not going to forget the area or route where he spotted you. So he will be hanging around there sooner or later waiting for a zx-14 to go speeding by. You will not even see him. So my .02 if you ride your bike to work often is to take it easy for a while and ride the speed limit, because he is going to catch you the next time you go over the speed limit on the way to work! I am guessing he put his lights on because he saw you fly by and they are very hard on people that run. I have been in that situation a few times... I don't use the brake because you don't want them to see that you know you were speeding and hit the brake. I just get off the throttle and keep riding the speed limit until he actually pulls me over or if, sometimes they will just tail gate your ass for a while then pull off!

I had a clean license for the last 10 years. The day - the very day - I'm due to pick up my 14 I got a 5 over in a construction zone driving my car to work. It's a 3-pointer, the $100 fine I could care less about.
Its too bad, because I had expected to get tickets on the 14, almost inevitable when you're aboard this rocket. Now my margin of error is significantly reduced. I'm going to court in the hope the cop doesn't show up.

I think this topic has been done before.
But a chase, is the bees knees eh? Read below.....
I remember, i'm sure, that a copper mentioned on this stie that (was a rider himself), if they pulled over, in a sensible manner and it wasn't too much of a 'situation', he would let them off.
True Story: I started work for a motorcycle courier company in England. My second task was to meet the owner to pick up some blood from Manchester airport and take it to Stockport...maybe a 16 mile run.
This meant going down the 'Snake Pass'. We had 'BLOOD" signs in Red on our bikes. We hit some traffic jams n the way and the owner went into a phone box [The good old ones - Red - Doctor Who...]. When he came out he said wait here, we have a police escourt.
Well soon enough, two cop cars arrive (Two coppers in each car). The owner has a chat with the copper in charge, and off we go.
Obviously, we (the owner), has to lead the way - we all follow, but i have to keep up with the boss! As we hit the town centre of Stockport - to cut a long story short!
Sirens screaming away, blue and red lights lights blazing away, we exceed the speed limit by at least twice. We go around roundabouts the wrong way around. Everyday commuters skidding to halts, as we came to these roundabouts and Intersections . All with two police cars behind us.... Lights and Sirens, the whole works.
After i clicked onto the fact that i could actually do this for 'real' and get away with it, i started to enjoy myself.
We eventually got tto he blood delivery place. The owner gets off his bike. I'm panting, and the police cars pull up.
The copper in charge, gets out (with a smile on his face), and says, "Enjoy that boys"?
We say yes, of course and i notice that the other coppers are grinning as well. They stay as the boss delivers the blood to the delivery door, then they drive off.
The door opens. A grey haired lady opened the door (No-one around), and asks who we are. We present the blood package, with sweat drooling off our faces - the police cars disapearing off into the distance...
She takes her time to open the smoked screen door. She misses a few keys to unlock the door [Damn, i think she is saying after three attempts]. The door opens and she says "Can i help you gentlemen?".
We explain that this blood has to be got here by xx time, doesn't it? "'Oh yes, of course it has, silly me", she replies. "I'll book it in for tomorrow, or maybe later...".
MORAL:::: Everyone likes a good chase!
Problem is 'they' get paid for it.....

well here in Maryland there is a no chase law ,Which means unless you robbed a bank or shot someone You are not gonna be chased down .But i try not to do dumb shit that will get me pulled over. I have had cop roll up on me while i was doing 90 in a 65 mph zone and He waved on and went passed me. So i have not really had any issues with The police, and most of the guys i ride with have not had any problems with the either.
