2008 ZX14 Brock's Map Update
I got this email from Brock's Racing today:
These Maps are for use in 2008 ZX-14's with a Stock Engine using Brock's Performance Street Megaphone System (Standard or Shorty megaphone) and a ZX-14 PC3 USB Power Commander Dynojet Part # 234-411.
These maps represent typical combinations for street and track use based on Stock and Modified engine management combinations. These combinations include removing the secondary throttle plates if desired.
SPECIAL NOTE ON THE TRE-008: We have determined that the addition of a standard TRE-008 is NOT REQUIRED on the 2008 ZX-14. The 2008 ZX-14's stock ECU opens the secondary's at a more aggressive rate than the 2006/07 models, our testing suggests that this new rate is nearly identical to the rate supplied by the TRE-008.
We now supply "deceleration pop" reduction mapping for use with the TRE-006A on request (simply request by reply to this e-mail).
WARNING...this locks the bike in the neutral map. We have proven this to SLOW YOU DOWN at the drag strip!! But it does help prevent decel pop on the street.
