grateful of this forum

i want to say thanx to u guys on here,,i have been reading this stuff for a couple months,i have learned alot about my bike from u guys,,,,SMOKIN u r the greatest,,,u r genuine,,,know your shit,,,and affirm people to give them hope,,,,u r old school,,,like myself,,,i am doing the mods on my 08zx14,,WHAT DO U GUYS THINK OF THE BMC AIR FILTERS,,MY EXPERIENCE WITH K N WAS GOOD AS FAR AS BREATHING,,BUT THEY DONT SEEM TO CLEAN THE AIR THAT GOOD,,i took the back up screen off the stock one,,,,i should get the BMC and get that map for it all at once,,,OH, SHOULD I GET THE HEAVY DUTY CLUTCH SPRINGS,,i got the whole bike apart,,i put my 16t sprocket on,,n,,i removed the flies,,,waiting for my ceramic brock street meg,,p/c,speedohealer,,, ANYTHING ELSE, i am just tring to make this bike the way it should have been,,in the first place,,i have my second fan on my radiator done,,,i am using 2 quarts engine ice,,,half a bottle of water wetter,,,n the rest water,,,i use mobil 1syn, 10 -40 oil,,,,i have used it for afew yrs no problems,, i dont race but i want it to be a good healthy running street bike,,,

BMC has the best filters as far as I know. I had my bike dynoed with BMC race filter in and out, no other changes, and power was identical. Heavy springs may help depending on your weight, but if you never go to the dragstrip, might not be of much use.

love my bmc filter, i got the street one for the hopefully increased filtering but i could feel the difference, the bike breaths!

Thanks Smooth_G...... BMC is a great filter ...If you get the race filter you will need to clean it a bit more offten than the street BMC filter .. The factoy clutch springs are just fine , i have run 8s on them no problem.....Injoy your new zx14 ...

THANX GUYS,,I THINK I WILL GET THE STREET ONE,,CAN U FEEL A DIFFERENCE IN POWER BETWEEN THE STREET AND RACE FILTER,,,
