ZX-14 slighty surging @ Idle?

My 14 starts fine, & after its warmed up , At idle its slightly surging ,like its hunting. When you ride it & come down to a stop idling it still slightly surging?? Anything I can look towards?

What is you idle speed ? What map are you running ? Did you set the throttle setting in your P/C ?

Idle speed @ 1500rpms slightly surging. yes the throttle positon shows 0 & i had set it last year. Its been so long that i set it, I forgot how to go over it again??

Idle speed should be 1000 to 11000 .... 1500 is a little to high ..... Try setting it lower and see what it does .. Dyno jet has the info on setting 0% and 100% on there web site .... You should reload your map and check throttle settings everytime you change your oil ....Just think of it as an oil change and tune up ...

I did just reload the map. I'll eventually figure whats going on, I appreciate your suggestions & will look into th TP setting, but it was on 0. Thanks

If you've pulled the flies and done an exhaust, slight surging is normal in the very low ranges in 1st; even my Busa's did that. This is quite characteristic of the big bores...given all that low end TQ

People are going to think you've got a blower . It's always fun to see the look on a person's face the first time that they go to lake Havasu AZ and hear all the boats surging.

But the problem is I don't have a blower. Your right, Locally i have a few friends with Fountains with blowers. One thing is they will pin you back when you lay the "Hammer Down"

lower you idle to 1000, you are not staging
