FWIW---zx14mike's seat would not come off. It had to go back to the shop because the release latch was broken.

Good story. When I went to the shop to order new left plastics because I jump'd off without the kickstand(less than 200 miles)---I told them a Hater knocked it over at the mall. I finally confessed and caught hell for a long time. Lucky for me they wanted to see the 14 on the streets, so they gave me the plastics at cost.

I read this and was LMAO!!!! Not only cause it was funny but cause I did the very same thing. Yes yes I did!!! Went to take the seat off to look at things on my new 08 and stuck the key in the helmet lock release!!! Took me a few minutes to figure out where the seat lock was.

YOU arent the only one OP!

Cheers
Kinley
