Oil leaking new bike

Bike had a dozen miles on it when I was showing the new ride to a buddy when we noticed oil down the right side of the motor. Even blew out onto the fairing. Went back to dealer , who kept the bike saying they think it was over filled and blew out into the air box. The oil level was right on when we checked it. He says it needs the airbox cleaned or it will continue to weep out. It actually had a couple of drops on the ground sitting in front of the dealership. Has anyone ever overfilled their bike and had the same experience? Oill has a way of going all over the place and I can't tell where it's coming from.
Also, I think the bike runs hot. When you're in the air it shows one bar but when I pulled in the garage, the bike idled for maybe 30 seconds and the fan comes on. We are talking high 60's weather here. Dealer says there's proably an air bubble in cooling system. That one I really don't think would be the case, but I have no experience with this bike. Any thoughts on this from you gurus that foregot more then I know about these bikes. Guess it's a good thing I got the 5 yr warranty ay.....

I just got mine back from the dealer, i had an oil leak on the right side as well. Mine turned out to be the balance shaft seal. They cleaned it off the first time and told me to ride it and bring it back if it does it again, well it did. They ordered it and replaced it,I have 0 leaks now. I bet you have the same problem. Pretty common from what i gather.

The heat will go away with more miles and an oil change ...It's going to run a little warm till it's broke in ...A pipe really helps the zx14 bring the temps down by getting ride of the Cats ....

If it was over filled with oil it will get into the air box ... Make sure you keep it in the middle of the sight glass and all will be fine ..

Guys I have the same leak right now coming out of the balancer seal. They were only 2 bucks each, so I ordered 4 to keep some in stock. Is there an easy way to replace this seal? Can it be replaced without pulling everything apart???

Got the bike back from dealer an hour before having to work. I did get another 40 plus miles on it before putting the beast up though. Upon returning back home several hours later, I see no drips on the floor. Still alot of weepages that I need to clean off motor and a little made it out to fairing again. It does appear to be a silly mistake of over filling at the dealer.
Now to get the beast broke in. It is hard not to let it rip because I can feel the power coming on past 5-6 grand just when I have to shut it down. Never had a machine like this. It's like a date with a super model but ya can't get any. That's all right, the girl is coming around.
Thanks to your guys replies and thoughts about temps and oil prob. I have learned alot reading here already and look forward to more in the future....
