ZX14 uncorked and some mods

Good day to all, I've finally started my zx14's transformation. It had been totally stock before last week and I finally was able to uncork and add some personal touches. I purchased a Brock S-meg and had it ceramic coated from HPC. After installing the pipe and the Power Commander I notice that the Maxton map was a bit rich and the Track map/ no flies w/baffle was the best performing, bottom end performance choice. The plug was installed in the S-meg to reduce some of the sound for passengers and neighbors. This also totally took away any decal pop on deceleration. I received my seat from Tobin and I was totally please with the workmanship, look, and stitching quality. I installed some other accessories to enhanced the blue/black appearance. I added new city and high beam lights to give that white/exotic blue appearance seen in elegant cars (I have ordered xeon conversion lights for the running lamps/H11). My 12yr old son joined me and we had a blast both working on the ZX14 and the power return after the completion. Can't wait to paint the rims and add a nos kit.

I really like the cut down in the front on the seat! Does the cover still fit ok? What does a seat like that cost? Thanks Billy

Thanks! Yes the cover fits just fines and actually gives it more of a refined look. The seat cost $300(not a new one but recovers the original stock seat), keep in mind that I requested stitching which added about $45 to the overall cost

So the stock seat cowl still fits? That sounds great... I think I'm sold on the new seat idea for sure now. The blue stitching looks like a perfect match, does it look that close in person?
