1/4 mile gearing
Thinking of stretching the bike to 62 inches at some point during the next year and just wondering if there would be anything to gain by using similar gearing but larger sprockets..............right now i am running 16/42 gearing, i've heard there is less chaindrag and more horsepower with larger sprockets because the chain doesnt have to bend at as big of an angle, 17/45 and 18/47 are very similar ratios would there be any advantage to running a bigger counter shaft sprocket with similar gearing.
I've also heard the other side of the coin that bikes get more initial drive with smaller counter shaft sprockets when overal ratios are similar.
anyone have any experience with similar ratios but different sized sprockets?

Thanks for the offer Busa, but i allready have a gearing chart with the ratios, my real question is would there be any advantage to going to a similar ratio with larger sprockets..............like i said 16/42. 17/45 and 18/47 are all similar ratios, i'm wondering if there would be any advantage running one over the other?
