NinjaNick,
I usually travel up to Kilcare several times a year for two wheel Tuesday. Maybe we can meet at the track sometime.

Dubious,
I wondered the same thing about the light before I ordered them. I've seen these wheels mounted on a To Be Fast R6, and they looked darker than other brands, at least that's what I was hoping. I was correct, the wheels are a darker gold and a great match to the Sato rearsets.

Slates, your bikes looks GREAT!!! May I ask you, how much you paid for those wheels? Loved the gold color tone they have (powder coated?).
Best Regards,
David

Hi there,
The Sato Rearsets raise the pegs a bit eh?
Can they be lowered or adjusted at all?

KikonZX14,
Wheels are anodized and I purchased them through Brocks Performance. Retail for $1739. Hint, become a "streetsmart owner" (Brocks full system with full map support).
KB,
The Sato rearsets can be set in 8 different positions. They can be lowered, but some of the lowered postions will interfere with the side stand and are more for drag racing applications.

Ok, I'm going to ask the naive question that's been on my mind for a while. What is the advantage of rearsets? They look great but I don't want to lose leg room. I dig riding the twisties too. So what's the advantage that makes it worth that kind of money? Thanks.

Adjustable, lighter weight, better foot peg grip, smoother shifting and they help make my bike different from the next guys zx-14.

I picked the bike up yesterday and we were late for a dinner obligation...I took two pics at dusk and the memory card was full. I'll try to take and post more pics this Saturday or Sunday.

Do they adjust lower than stock? I'm not into drag'n but my knees/hip cry after 30 mins of riding.
I have HeliBars incomming as we speak, granted 3/4 inch isn't a lot, but I'm scrounging for every inch I can get either on top, or down low.

Try Buell pegs instead.
Rearsets are for raising the footpegs to gain more ground clearance it the twisties or on the track. While they can be lowered they will interfere with your side stand.

It's a smoked Puig and it's very similar to the Zero Gravity double bubble.
