Silver, I think you're trying to get me LOCKED UP !
Get that shifter fixed and let's put some numbers on the board. Don't forget to let me get that seat covered.

That's Silver's plan... if you're incarcerated, then he has a chance to be the Quickest bike & rider at the track, lol. Shhh, but word has it... Silver knows some of those State-Men that could do him the favor, lol. Problem for those guys would be trying to catch ole Double Zero!!!

Hey put some MR9 in that puppy .....5.60 flat easy !!! Ask me how i know ...lol I get the same suff everytime i beat a Busa ( that motor is built or you got a big shot in it )... I have a standing bet with anyone ...I'll run a 5.60 pass and tear down my motor right in front of them ...If it's all stock you pay me 10,000 .. If it not stock i'll hand you the keys and the title to my zx14 .... No one has takin the bet yet but it sure shuts them up ...

I WAS running MR9 ~ It has NEVER run the mph that some of the guys on here are running. It runs consistent .70s but the .68 seemed to be a one-time deal. I guess time will tell. At 175 lbs, I'm than some of you JOCKEYS but lighter than "ahem" at least (2) of my 14 friends. ( LOL )

If all goes well, i'll be 155 lbs by the time that i get off of deployment. I'm 168-170 right now. I guess we'll see if i can keep it up on this diet. Only time will tell.

I'm 224, geez!! 175 is lightweight to me, lol

qwick, even if 00 retired i would be a long way down the line from being the quickest rider. But at my weight and lack of experience, i am happy where i am.

got my MPS part i needed today, going to take the nylon lines off very soon and replace with stainless. so the airshifter will actually do something besides add weight. going to add the quick turn throttle, ceremic bearings, autoshift box, MSD launch box, new clutchs and new back tire, all should be done within 2 weeks. should have my catalyst seat painted this week and i will get it to you.

I can be at 200lbs within a month, gotta get motivated.

Eat well... just build a bigger motor, lol. The quick turn throttle sounds like a good idea, I'm interested in seeing how it works out.

Last year at the track during one of the all bike events they opened up both lanes for side by side roll-ons through the burnout & staging area... they would hit it WOT as they passed by the tree. It gave some of the bigger guys and launch challenged (as I fit both of those categories, lol) a little better chance. It was interesting. And it seems to be a good way to cut down on street racing if you ask me.

Lloyd, I'll try to find out more on the side by side roll-ons. I'll line you up a few more Victims for that event... my cut is 10%, lol JK. Who wouldn't jump on that race? An old school (all motor) Busa at stock wheelbase with over 100,000 miles on it. Heck, I'd probably fall victim to that challenge too, lol. But, I KNOW BETTER!!!

It's those "high mileage" busas I'm worried about, until they hit about 90K, i dont seem to have any problems with em. LOL Suzuki must build them so tight, it takes 100K till they get loosened up!

Silver08 (Reminder) Lee's Performance is having a Bike Fest at Mooresville Dragway on May 8th. There is always plenty of action there - I had a blast on the 14 last year, this year BOTH bikes are going.

Bently. I always go to CONESVILLE two times a year. I ran at Cedar Falls last year at a test / tune & 3 at Earlville. I didn't put half the parts on til after these places. I did get to see good times at Conesville 1/8 th mile. I do have my time slips to prove I'am right ,unless the tree wasn't right so i will come to Cedar Falls as soon as i get my bike put back together. I will show you the slips & i guess we will have to race. ( I respect all riders but i think smokin is to full of himself to give credit where credit is do. Sorry smokin! My opinion...) I'll also give you my # if you riders want to ride or race. It's only for fun to me. Win or loss, i'am happy!

You should go to Conesville! It's May 15, 16 & 17. I'am going down there on the 14th to set up camp. I'am trailering the bike this year because of the long drive. I use to get there on Fridays 1 hour before test/tune & the bike would be hot. (2 1/2 to 3 hr ride.) There were 3 ZX14's there last fall & alot of fast BUSA's. I hope to see Shawn with his airplane metal looking Blue,Orange, silver BUSA. He races at Cedar Falls.
