New to Forum

New to Forum and wanted to say hi. I'm down in Fort Lauderdale and just purchased a 2008 ZX14. Love the bike even more since I got a set of Akrapovics on it. Rode Harleys most my life. Feels good getting back to the sportbikes. Reminds me of why I used to ride a bike to school. Thanks alot already for all the excellent advice on the site.

Al

Funny you said that since that is exactly why I made the switch. I love riding everywhere but after 10 years of Harleys I was growing bored with scraping floorboards on every corner and not really getting anywhere quickly. I remembered riding a DR Enduro in Highschool and a CBR 600 in college. I love the size, power and technology in the 14. It also didnt help that I grew tired of all the attitude at the Harley dealer and in the service department. This stuff is suppose to be fun!

All too familiar with scraping the pegs or exhaust, rode choppers for years. Don't think I could go back to the lack of performance and high maintenance.
