Concours 14 seat !

Just installed a new concours seat on my zx14. it fits great just change hardware from seat to seat, got to get used to the black and gray color on my red 14 but its nice for the wife.

If you don't care much for the color, why not have a local shop that does upolstery recover it for you....in any color or material you like? Also, consider doing a search on the web for companies that sell replacement motorcycle seat covers, then install it yourself with a staple gun?

Lots of options my friend; if you don't like the current color combonation.

Not to be a nay sayer but would have been cheaper and looked betterif you would have just sent your seat to Tobin O'Conner at Tobin Seats www.tobinseats.com. I was looking at doing the same thing but it was half the price of a new Concours seat and well it looks better. Sorry just my opinion.

wikidzx I work at a kawi dealer so i dont think u can get a tobin seat for the same money.

well I guess if you have to put it that way then it would probably be cheaper. Shouldn't cost toomuch to recover it in all black. Like 50.00 or so.

then your problem is solved, you can't see it when your both on so I wouldn't worry about it.

It looks good. I agree. Definitely use it for the Mrs. and slap the cowl/stock seat back on afterwards.
