Are you stock whelbase? If so you should be fine with a pilot power if your stretched you will want the pilot race.

pilot power won't hook very well if your 4 to 6 over IMO. your better off with the pilot race or Shinko again.

How about a tire reccomendation for 6 over. Am now using the stock tire which proved to be useless yesterday at the 1/4 mile. Most bikes I saw at the strip were using shinkos but which one, the race or the ultra soft race version. I assume either one would be better than the BT-014's. This bike is also used on the street.

Michelin Power Race 'Soft' compound, 180-55, 69" wheelbase ZX-14 and get 1.38-1.41 every launch.

My buddy used the same tire except its the 'Medium' compound, and he rides on the street and drag races at the track and his is lasting pretty long and hooking like glue.

how much air u all running at the track? it seems as if i have to be down to 12 lbs or so to hook. Is that costing me mph at the other end? just cause i'm down a bit and cant figure why

what are you guys paying for Power Race tires? I want to run one instead of a heavy Usoft, but I can buy 2.5 shinkos for 1 michelin.
