Muzzy Slip Ons

I recently installed the Muzzy carbon slip ons with the Power Commander 3 uploaded with the map for the Muzzy's and stock air filter. The bike is stock otherwise. Mid range and full on throttle is excellent but I'm noticing a lag or hesitation when very light in the throttle around 2500 rpm. This comes up in traffic conditions. Any suggestions?

I have the same slip-on's. Down in that range there is a lag. But on my '06 it was built in under 4000-4500 by the factory. Removing the flies and updating the mapping with the "no flies", slip ons and stock air filter changed the bike noticeably. Lots more power down low, very linear, no lag. You PCIII might screwed up. Have you tried a reinstall of the map? Take the flies out and be done with it.

Thanks for the info! I increased fuel by 4 bars on both the low and mid adjustments which smoothed it out quite a bit. This was suggested by Power Commander tech. It still lags a bit though so I think I'll take your advice. How is your bike at low throttle traffic conditions with the flys removed?

Good news! Thanks for the info! I'm out of town for a week and then will remove flys and remap!
