Installation of tail Tidy...
Ok I am no mechanic (or even mechanically inclined) but I thought I would bring my new bike into the house to "work on it" over the winter, much to my wife's displeasure.
However with 8ft of Snow outside and falling I thought I should attempt my first "Repair" the installation of a tail tidy...
Should be easy but I cant get the mud flap off. It looks like there are three bolts holding it on (1 from the bottom 2 from the top), however the screw from the bottom just spins and I can only reach one of the ones from the top without puling out all the electrical "stuff".
Has anyone done this (I keep thinking it can't be as hard as it appears to me).
Thank's

&!*^#$ blasted... I just got back from the store after picking up a new socket set with a long extension it is still not moving.
Well at least it looks good sitting in my living room, now as long as the kids don't play with it and push it over I should be all set for another go at it tomorrow.

THE TOOL BOX AND THE ELECTRICAL STUFF HAVE TO COME OUT IN ORDER TO GET TO THE BOLTS. DON'T UNPLUG ANYTHING (NO NEED) AND MAKE SURE THE HOLES IN THE UNDERTAIL GET PLUGGED SO WATER DOEN'T GET INTO THE COMPUTER.

I used black duct tape to cover the holes.... works great!

Same here. I used bolts and washers top and bottom in four holes and black electrical tape to cover the hole that the electric ran to the rear license plate light.
