Garmin ZUMO GPS has a download that warns you when there are red light cams or bridge speed traps ahead, and may be more legal then tampering with a tag

Saw an episode of Myth busters that tried these along with numerous other gadgets that wrea long the same lines. Nothing worked from their experiments. It was pretty interesting to watch.

I tried it, its hard to tell if it works...........some of the pictures looked like it worked and the plate image looked blurry and some pictures looked like you could kind of make the plate out..........i'm thinking lighting and flash play a factor in how it works.

We have those POS cameras here in Phoenix. Best defence I have found is tucking the plate up under the fender so the camera can not see it..

On a side note... I have thought that a garbage bag over the camera would work as the best defence... We need to start an underground movement of the "Mad Bagger" society.

It would have great support from the people as long as nothing got damaged.

If I break the law, I always ride my bike to the nearest police station and confess my speeds I did that day.
