Anyone ever have a wheel repaired ?
I have a Marvic Penta 2 front wheel that is bent ...Looks to have hit a curb at some point ... I'm worried if repaired it would not be safe for the high speeds my bike sees drag racing ..
I did not bend it ... I got screwed by a Bikeland member that told me it was in great shape .. He also told me it was for a zx14 but it's for a zx12 and the rear wheel is off a Busa ..!!!!!!!! 
I wanted my money back guy but he will not send back my money ..He said he would pay to have it repaired but i don't believe a damn thing he tells me anymore ...I will mostlikey end up paying for the repair and i don't feel safe running a repaired wheel ..I have allready lost money on this deal and don't want to ad more money to my loss ..
What you guys think i should do with this wheel ?

I was lookin at those wheels too, but they didn't look so good in pics, and the rear brake hanger deal turned me right off.
The ones in the classifieds for a few months by chance?

aluminum shouldn't be a problem, but magnesium?> ewwe I don't know!
thats some brittle shit, and it burns before it welds I think.
Hopefully I'm wrong.
Any car wheel repair shop should be able to fix it though.

Yes thems the ones ....He told me they bolt right on ...What he didn't tell me was they do bolt on only after you use crappy old Busa parts to make them fit !!! He and his ad were very misleading ... I'm pissed about that BUT more pissed about the bent front rim !!!!

ANy trusted member in cali wanna go find this guy??? what is his name and address Smokin PUT HIM ON BLAST!!! There have to be some upstanding members around him that would pay him a visit. Not suggesting anything illegal but a face to face might help

Humm!
Weird how Smokin of all people may have caught in the 'Sounds to good to be true' deal.
Don't think there is any point in chasing this guy - if it was REALLY cheap.....!!!
But if it's a case of deliberate misinformation, then it doesn't matter what the price is.

Thanks Lucky .. That is the place he wants me to ship the wheel for repairs ...I just don't think he will pay for the repairs like he said ... I will have to eat the repair cost and UPS shipping both ways .. With what i paided plus repairs i could have got a new set of wheels that do fit my zx14 and not some horse shit Busa and zx12 wheel that you have to make fit ..

Yup i guess it can happen to anyone ... I did pay 1350.00+ bucks for the wheels and i trusted the guy to be standup guy ... I had no clue that i was beening mislead into buying a busa rear wheel and a bent front zx12 wheel ...Had he been up front with me on the phone or in his Ad i would have never got them ...It really sucks that a Bikeland member would do this to another member ...

I was merely stating that he should be banished by the folk,
I doubt they will ban him.
Guys have tried to sell bikes under false pretences ( no bike!), and were not banned for that.
JDWB comes to mind. He eventually got banned for threatening ppl with / verbally supporting terrorism.

I saw the wheels personally. The front wheel has a flat spot in it and is also tweaked. The rear is a Busa wheel and NOT a direct bolt on to the 14. The guy needs a foot up his ass! Wonder how hard it would be to file a small claims on him?

I'm going to call the postmaster monday and look into filing Mail Fraud charges ..Also talking to the LEO in his home town ... SEND me back my money and my parts and i'll forget the hole thing ................
