Lowering a ZX14
How do you keep the fuel pump housing area from hitting the swingarm, I weight 220lbs and with lowering links in the lowest setting it hits everytime. The bike is stretched 7 inches. Has anyone with this much weight had any luck.

aftermarket swingarm, and at very least a stiffer spring for your weight.
Stock spring is good ffor 150lb guy on stock arm.
Stock arm is 30 " long, yours now is 37" long,~ 25% more leverage on the spring.
You are 50% heavier than 150 lb dood.
I would be looking for a rear spring in the 13-14 kg/mm range.
Race tech, or schintz can help you out.
A straight rocker arm from adams, changes the leverage ratio and will stiffen it up as well,
Straight arm, or stiff spring....
however a good bump will have you hitting the fuel pump still, until arm is modified, as well as rubbing a hole through the rear fender if your on the bottom hole.
____________
natural selection.....
destiny will overcome intervention.
Some are not worthy of the effort.
