exhaust decisions??
Ok guys get my tax return in a couple of weeks and i am definitely getting a brocks pipe but cant decide on witch one to get...love the alien head sytem, but really like the short smeg thats supposed to be comming. Also rumors of the short smeg system possible duels? The duels would look sweet but would the hp gains be the same or less than a single pipe theoretically? brocks package deal is the way to go but your inputs on your pipes hp gains and sound differences let me know and has anyone seen a good sound clip of an alienhead?

Be careful what you get. The louder (most associated with more horsepower) you get, might affect your hearing and joys in a long ride. Unless you race (at a venue), I would recommend you get something quieter. The best solution might be the Brock Smeg with the plug. Call Brock--

Hey PA, what would you say about a dual Alien Head slip-on system from Brock? Don't let that money burn a hole in your pocket... be patient, Brock has a few new things on the way!

all the dual systems that i know of are slip-on. Less power. The smeg and the alien are loud, alien being louder. dont have a clip of my alien, but maybe i can get one for you

Pa, I should be riding with the Silver08 the weekend after next, so I'll get some video of the Alien Pipe for you... let me know if you find something sooner. And what part of Pa are you from? Southwestern corner myself.

qwick, that clip would be great if you could get that for me, I do haul a passenger once in awhile but i dont think shes going to complain about the noise. As long as it has a nice sound its fine with me. Im in central pa. An hr above harrisburg and i have only seen one 14 up this way so far. ohh and one quick question...the dyno jet quick shifter works with the pc3 from brocks am i correct?

Pa, Not sure about the quick shifter... maybe check with Silver08 on that. Also, Hawkman has a video with the Alien Head Exhaust. I asked him to send it to you, so keep an eye open for it. Also, you familiar with the "Thunder in The Valley" Bike Rally in Johnstown, Pa? Been there the last two years, it's pretty cool... set for the last week in June this year.

Those are wise words. I remeber going to the Isle of Man TT Races back in the 1980's with a megaphone system called a Dunstall Decibel Silencer fitted to my Honda CB900. By the time I got home, one week and fifteen hundred miles later, I couldn't wait to put the standard pipes back on.
My 1400 has got the TiForce system fitted and the little removable baffle keeps the noise down to 97dB. It still sounds great without offending.

Paz, the alien head in that video had a connector pipe that was too long, so don't use it for visual reference.
Use this one.

Hey Hawkman nice picture
Swing down the passenger peg and see how far it is from the muffler .PLEASE! You never see a picture with the passenger peg down.
IT is the best looking muffler out there.
