Weather not great this morning, but not raining right now. Actually thought about leaving early but it doesn't seem to be much better back home. 00 is running like a CHAMP, the gearing change made a BIG difference ! There were 6 '08 Busas riding back from Orlanda yesterday and all of them tried me, when we finally pulled over they said that they thought my "spray" would eventually run out. NOT GONNA HAPPEN !!! Not to shabby for an OLD MAN and a 100000+ bike. LOL

Too bad it's not making me any here- a lot of talk but no takers. Maybe tomorrow
Plus the weather hasnt been great and I haven't even thought about going to Deland ( closed air strip ) I'm sure they're racing somewhere, I jst haven't found out where.!

D-bird's bike went 5.88@122.08 Thurs. night at Greer, you'd better get some more practice. Andrew was riding it, Chris went 5.99@126.14 on his stockwheel base 08. I was told he has a dry shot but I'm not sure, that's a lot of mph for that ET.

I would only race if he was riding, and ya more practice sounds right hearing those numbers. sounds like a one-hitta-quita to me, 126 is crazy, unless he just got a "freak" motor from the factoryl. Maybe he has the hook-up like uncle Rick G. with his "stock" 184whp '08 14, Lol

00, I was told that someone actually saw the system on the 08 Busa when he had the plastic off of it... not sure if that's true, but the info was given to me by a reliable source.

Even if he does have it, you've can "only" run what you brung. Both of them are extremely lite and good riders ! Those '08 Busas are for real.

definately. Coming from all Honda's before i got interested in drag stuff, I just went Kawi because everyone else rode zukes. I love my 14, but for the money, you cant match the 08 busa, motor for motor. If a 3mil zx14 made 230++ whp and you could ride it on the street with no issues, i would have one!
