Don't you think 140 psi is a bit more than 100 psi ?
Just a bit. Don't you have an adjustment on the fuel regulator?? I would think 100, or even 90 would be more than enough. I know when I make my runs, I watch both the fuel pressure, and the boost, but more so the fuel pressure.
Yes it's adjustable and we can turn it down but the map was made at 140 psi .. So if we just turn down without remapping we may go too lean ...The reg has two setting one for static ( 42 ) and one rising rate ... The rising rate is the one we need to change ..

I don't/didn't think fuel pressure affected the mixture ratio. As long as its above 80 or 90, is should run the same. But i'm sure you'll put it back on the dyno just to make sure. He's running a stock motor, and those pistons are the greatest.

$ is only part of it........esp when you do it yourself.....
The ONLY thing that I did not design or do myself was the actual welding.......I woulda just bought a kit if I didn't want the challenge as part of it.

saw the cycle logic kit on ebay stage1 only 3995 starting bid 4695 buy it now out of sarasota. the write up is impressive, very nice quality. they will give you credit if you already have a pclll, and they recommend the install and tune package for 850. they want you to call them for custom configs. note this is for a stage 1 not with some of the extras jesse got. i am impressed with the cycle logic kit.

NO RESERVE!!!
Kawasaki ZX-14R Turbo Kit 2006-2008 This is the most awesome Turbo kit in production for the Kawasaki ZX 14r. This New kit fits on the 2006-2008 ZX14!!! Cycle-Logic MotorSports.com builds the finest Billet parts available anywhere. They use a dual ball bearing turbo unit by IHI for the quickest spooling and the most throttle responsive turbo set up on the planet. Other companies won't spend the time and energy needed to make their kit this nice and still be this inexpensive!!! It is designed for an "All Stock" engine to produce 260RWHP. They have designed they're own Billet aluminum boost sensing fuel controller. No one anywhere has a fuel controller as small, light and effective as this one. Look close at all the images to notice the "fine" engineering and CNC machining they do. This is the best a production kit can be. When you are ready, you can add Forged rods, pistons and a secondary fuel injector controller for BIG power. The turbo unit in every kit is capable of producing over 435RWHP. This auction is for the street kit that makes 260. The kit is available for delivery but it's recommend to have their installation and testing package for only $850. This is the BEST way to ensure proper installation and tuning!!! A few days labor at your local motorcycle shop followed by dyno tuning may cost thousands of dollars that you don't need to spend!!! The kit comes with a Power commander with a basic turbo tune for the stock engine. You can choose your exhaust option. Dual exhaust (using your canisters) Slash cut baffle (out the right side) right side exit dump tube. The choice is yours at no extra cost!!! Other parts included are: 304L stainless turbo header (ported and polished) IHI vf22 turbo configured (set up specific) ZX-14r Waste gate actuator (preset to 8PSI boost) 304L stainless down pipe Stainless steel slash cut tunable muffler (exits behind right foot peg) 6061 aluminum charge tube Silicone couplers Stainless steel T-bolt charge tube clamps Billet CNC machined main air inlet Billet CNC machined frame block off with to pressure ports for boost gauge and fuel pressure control Silicone vacuum control hoses Billet aluminum air filter cartridge cover High performance fuel pump tower ($200 core exchange) Billet CNC machined fuel controller Billet CNC machined fuel controller bracket Electric turbo oil evac pump Billet CNC machined oil evac pump mount Billet CNC machined oil return port Lower crank case breather vent air filter (K & N style) Oil injection flow control valve Stainless XRP oil feed line Billet CNC machined turbo oil out flange High pressure fuel lines, connectors, clamps Power Commander USBIII with turbo tune!!! Instructions!!! More small parts not listed Discount available if you already have the PCIII Once you have choosen you options and make your payment allow two weeks for delivery. The bikes in the photos are NOT part of the auction. They are examples to completed kit with various options installed. Thanks, And good luck bidding.

Love the muffler, I've been told the turbo alone sounds awesome and it also sounds like a lawnmower chewing up a flock of birds.

I talked to Jesse today and the cause of the over fueling ( 140 psi ) was caused somehow by the waste gate that was added to the stage one kit ...Dave fixed the regulator to put out 80 PSI by adding a bleed to the Regulator line ...Jesse is tossing it back on the dyno this week to make sure everything is ok with the map and fuel ratio ....
Jesse should be ready for test and tune this coming weds night....( fingers crossed )

That system is starting to become a little trouble some for a bolt on! I am confused about the waste gate causing the over fuel? Most kits by pass back to fuel rail for reg,pop off so i don't quite understand why that wasn't already part of the kit. I have never seen one of these kits so i guess i should wait until i do to comment about it though. Bill....

Hell I am confusd by a lot of things! I do not know a thing about a turbo bike when it comes to working on them but I can damn sure ride the dickens out of one. I have never seen a turbo kit with an exhaust though so can somebody explain to me how that works and what are the ups and downs to this? Or are they just for looks? I am lost now?

Are you guys using the external wastegate yet?
What do intent to use to control it?
2 stage, or multistage boost control?
