just wondering what you do with the ram air system that is left? have you thought about fabbing up a bit of duct work to point that now wasted air at say the rad?

As a matter of fact we have been thinking about that very thing ...With the ram air tubes removed from the frame ( rubber parts ) the air still coming in will be aimed right at the top of the engine ...It may help cooling and rid some of the heat on the rider ...We are going to try it that way and will post up what happens .. If they were removed completely there may be room for a small intercooler ?? I'm glad you asked ...Smokin..

Ok guys back to the turbo install ....Today i put a few hours in and got the Oil return pump on and got it all plumbed and wired..I finished up the install of the lock up clutch as well as the Adams oil pan ... I ran a few of the boost lines and as soon as Jesse brings back the gas tank i can finish up the Fuel system ... The gas tank needed a fuel return bung installed , so i made Jesse take it to his work and get busy ...It's Jesse bike so he should do some work on it ... Looks like i may beable to fire this puppy friday and if no problems i'll ship it off to the Dyno .... The bike will be set at 8.5 pounds of boost and running C16 fuel ... From what i'm told 8 pounds of boost it should make 260+ HP safely on pump gas ..We are using C16 race fuel to be on the safe safe side.... Using c16 may make a little less HP than pump gas but this bike will only be run at the track so it's going to be run real hard all of the time ...Better safe than sorry till we know the mapping is spot on ...

Lee, 8lbs should be 285hp with C16. Doesn't matter what kit it is, all the motor see's is boost. Looking forward to seeing the numbers. Look out for them tornadoes coming your way.

Smokin', did you guys have that seperate wastegate added like that or is that how it comes in the kit?
In all honesty, would you buy one of these kits for your own bike Smokin'?

I have never run a turbo and I am curious if they are streetable and RACEABLE without constant tuning that has been my only hesitation about a turbo. I am excited to see what kind numbers yall get out of it

They are streetable and raceable if the tune is good. I'd tune for 11.5 afr 5000 rpms and up. U p to 5000 12 or 12.5 gives you a little more responce.

You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.
