M-10 on and the flies are now gone
So here's some pics of it installed. I yanked the rear pegs, as well.
Put it on our dyno. Stock it put out 159 peak hp. With the m-10, flies still in and the dynojet map it made 174 hp and a much smoother curve. Stock it dipped at 3,000 and 6,500rpm. With the smoothed out curve there is a 8-10 hp increase in those areas. I took the flies out this week and installed the Muzzy map. It isn't as big a difference as the 06-07 riders experienced, because I was seeing close to 10hp more than a stock 06 down low when mine was stock. No dyno yet. It'll be next week. I think the Muzzy map might be too fat on the bottom (butt dyno) for plain ole street riding. It has become a flame thrower once in a while when I let off the throttle at lower rpm ranges.
A bit louder than I wanted but I have put about 350 (200 with the flies out) miles on it and I have become used to it. I sure do like the looks!

Thats great man....m10 looks sweet. Im waiting to pull my flies as well. Just afraid of the warranty issue. If i pull them its a waste of the extended warranty. Cant wait to get those results of how many ponies she is producing. Post ASAP......BTW that color is killing me you make want to trade my 06. I wish i could come up with the cash. Mines will have to do for now.

looks awesome. is that a fender elim. kit or did you modify. i have been ready to pull the trigger on a blue 08, after seeing yours i think i will be at my dealer tomorrow. rear pegs removed, really clean it up. mike

It is a fender eliminator with LED tag light from TrackSide.

Local dealer told me, as long as you don't open the case you don't void your warranty.
Does the M10 and alien head produce about the same HP?

I agree the look is nice. How's the sound. I've a couple of muzzy pipes before and the sound was unique.all my buds knew it was me comin' around the corner. In those days noise wasn't an issue. now's different (age i guess)

Jus Cruisin, I don't mean to hijack your thread or anything. Your bike looks great with that M-10, but damn zxhoya, your avatar looks good as shit. When I saw that ass I forgot all about that muzzy M-10. LOL!
