I recently heard Vic is going to pilot a turbo 14 this season. Does anyone know any of the paticulars on this? Prostreet, Superstreet??? I'm ancious to see how the 14 reacts to boost. {i'm sure well} Also does anyone know anything about the system being put on the Kawi.

SS. Haven't heard anything new since he crashed it. I think he was in the 8.10's, 8.20's on his first couple passes.

Ducan your are always a day late and a dollar short ....The bike is Chris Jones bike ...Chris hand built the turbo set up and does all the tunning .. Victor wrecked the bike a few weeks back at BMP....It has run 810 @ 185 on low boost ....Victor flipped it at the 1000 foot mark when it pooped up in to a wheelie ....Chris is putting the bike back together as we type and is going to be at the first Prostar race running Super Street ..

I know all that. I hope Vic is allright. My question is really more turbo oriented. SET UP, TURBO SIZE, FMU, ETC. As I type I'm building or I should say Barry is building a stage 2 system system for me: shift light, dual ball bearing gt25, water injection, billet oil pan, 0-6 arm, adjustable lowering links, VRBC boost controller, BOV, pistons, rods, spacer plate, studs and nuts, quick access clutch cover, under cut trans, clutch basket, clutch hub, lock up, electronic boost guage, cut forks, shock link for rear.
cost: enough
hp:450-475 hopefully
I recently bought an 07 zx14 and I'd like to do a similar build with it. We'll see how my 08 busa turns out first.

Jones zx14 turbo

Hello everyone, I am the owner/ builder of the zx14 turbo you are referring to. The bike will be campaigned in a few short weeks in the ama dragbike super-street class, season opener at Valdosta, GA. As far as the bike goes, it is loaded with a garrett gt-3071 ball bearing turbo, tial wastegate/blow-off valve, Micro-tech ecu/data-logger, 60# secondary injectors, JE custom pistons, Carillio Rods, Adams transmission/oil pan, mtc lock-up, etc. We will be testing this week in Bradenton. We plan on testing a few different gear combinations and boost controllers. As far as riders go, Mr. Victor Gotay is doing fine, and suffered no serious injury. Mr. Gotay will not be the permanent rider for the 08 season. The Kawasaki will be ridden by the young and very talented Richard Gadson. With a little test time, I feel that we will be able to get the bike into the sevens! Will keep you posted.
