First ride on ZX-14
Finally took my bike out for the first time. Bought it in December and stored. Was 32 degrees and very cold. Haven't ridden in 12 years. Rode my buddies wife's 250 for a few miles then hopped on. The throttle was so easy it was amazing. Intimitading...YES! Wind sheer and corners...exp. corners VERY imtimidating. I will continue to take it slow. I was very suprised how easy it was to keep below 4000 RPM. I didn't twist the throtle at all. Followed a friend, took me out on traffic I wasn't ready for, but, I had to go there sometime. It was a great experience. Ready for a warm ready ride. WILL LOVE THIS SUMMER!

Welcome back to riding. The 14 is a great all around bike, smooth and powerful. There is lots of great info and knowledge on this site. Sounds like you are giving the bike the respect it deserves, have fun!
